Fish & Tips is a UK digital sports analysis service covering horse racing and football.
We provide editorial analysis, statistics, shortlists and other sporting information through the Fish & Tips website and our digital products.
These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Fish & Tips website or purchase a digital product from us.
What We Provide
Fish & Tips provides digital sports analysis and information.
Our products and content may include:
- Race Day Packs
- Horse-racing analysis
- Top Picks
- Main Danger / Value Angles
- Equal Top Picks in larger competitive races
- Football match analysis
- Statistical angles
- Bet Builder ideas
- Other digital sporting analysis introduced from time to time
The exact content included in a paid product will be described on the relevant product page before purchase.
Horse-Racing Selections
The number and type of horses highlighted within a Race Day Pack depends on the individual race.
Smaller and medium-sized fields will usually feature a Top Pick and, where appropriate, a Main Danger / Value Angle.
The Top Pick represents the horse with the strongest overall winning case from our analysis.
The Main Danger / Value Angle is intended to identify a genuine alternative that may also offer an interesting market angle.
In larger and more competitive races, Fish & Tips may instead highlight three Equal Top Picks.
Where three Equal Top Picks are shown, they are treated equally and are not ranked first, second and third.
Fish & Tips does not guarantee that every race will contain a selection.
Football Analysis
Our football coverage may include match analysis, statistics, key angles and data-led Bet Builder ideas.
Any Bet Builder idea represents an analytical interpretation of the available information.
It is not a guarantee that the suggested events will occur and is not an instruction requiring a customer to place a bet.
Analysis Only
Fish & Tips provides information and analysis only.
We do not:
- Accept bets or stakes
- Place bets on behalf of customers
- Hold customer gambling funds
- Operate as a bookmaker
- Act as a betting intermediary
- Settle bets
- Pay gambling winnings
- Guarantee sporting outcomes or financial returns
Any decision to gamble is made independently by the customer through a separately licensed gambling operator.
Fish & Tips has no involvement in that gambling transaction.
Age Requirement
Fish & Tips is intended for adults aged 18 or over.
By purchasing a Fish & Tips digital product, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
Orders and Prices
Prices are displayed on the Fish & Tips website before purchase and are normally shown in pounds sterling.
An order is accepted when payment has been successfully processed and an order confirmation is issued.
We may refuse or cancel an order where:
- Payment has failed
- We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse
- A product has been listed incorrectly
- We are unable to provide the product
- Cancellation is otherwise required by law
If Fish & Tips cancels an order after payment has been taken and the product has not been validly supplied, the appropriate payment will be refunded.
Guest Checkout
Fish & Tips currently allows customers to purchase digital products without creating a customer account.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that information entered during checkout is accurate.
This includes providing a valid email address where email is used for order confirmation or digital delivery.
Digital Products and Delivery
Race Day Packs and other paid Fish & Tips products are digital products.
They may be supplied by:
- Secure digital download
- Customer download page
- Email containing a file or download link
- Another digital delivery method clearly described before purchase
No physical product is shipped.
The relevant product page will show when a Race Day Pack is expected to become available.
Where a pack has already been released, access may be provided immediately after successful payment.
Where a pack is purchased before release, access will be provided when the completed product becomes available.
Immediate Digital Supply and Cancellation Rights
Special consumer rules apply to digital content supplied immediately.
Where a digital product is made available for immediate access or download, customers will be asked where required to expressly agree that digital supply can begin immediately.
Customers will also be asked to acknowledge that once digital supply begins, they may lose the normal 14-day cancellation right in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
This agreement and acknowledgement are separate from simply agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.
If the required agreement and acknowledgement have not been obtained, Fish & Tips will not rely on the customer having lost that statutory cancellation right.
Nothing in these Terms removes any statutory rights relating to digital content that is faulty, materially not as described or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal requirements.
Race Day Pack Changes
Horse racing can change quickly.
Going, weather, non-runners, jockey bookings and other relevant information may change after a Race Day Pack has been prepared.
A pack may display a preparation or lock time.
The analysis reflects information reasonably available when the pack was completed or most recently updated.
Where practical, Fish & Tips may update a Race Day Pack following a significant late change.
However, we cannot guarantee that every late change will result in a revised product.
No Guarantee of Results
Sport is unpredictable.
Past performance, statistics, ratings, models, form and analysis do not guarantee future sporting outcomes.
A Top Pick, Main Danger / Value Angle, Equal Top Pick, football angle or Bet Builder idea does not represent a promise that the relevant outcome will occur.
Customers remain responsible for their own decisions.
Fish & Tips does not guarantee:
- Winners
- Placed horses
- Successful Bet Builders
- Betting profits
- Any particular financial return
Odds and Market Information
Any odds or market information shown by Fish & Tips is provided for context only.
Prices can change quickly and a price shown within our analysis may no longer be available when viewed or acted upon.
Fish & Tips does not guarantee the availability of any quoted odds.
Refunds
Our Delivery & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms.
Subject to statutory consumer rights, a losing selection or unsuccessful sporting outcome does not by itself create a right to a refund.
This includes circumstances where:
- A Top Pick loses or does not place
- A Main Danger / Value Angle loses
- An Equal Top Pick loses
- A football angle does not occur
- A Bet Builder is unsuccessful
- The customer disagrees with the analysis after purchase
- Odds change following publication
Statutory rights remain unaffected where digital content is faulty, materially not as described, not delivered as agreed or another legal right to a remedy applies.
Personal Use
Paid Fish & Tips content is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
Unless Fish & Tips gives permission, customers must not:
- Resell paid Fish & Tips content
- Publicly upload or publish paid products
- Commercially redistribute Race Day Packs
- Reproduce paid analysis for commercial purposes
- Scrape or systematically extract paid content
- Create competing commercial products substantially based on Fish & Tips paid content
Reasonable personal use, such as viewing a purchased Race Day Pack on more than one of your own devices, is permitted.
Intellectual Property
The Fish & Tips name, website content, Race Day Packs, written analysis, graphics and other original content are owned by or licensed to Fish & Tips unless otherwise stated.
Nothing within a purchase transfers ownership of Fish & Tips intellectual property to the customer.
Website Availability
We aim to keep the Fish & Tips website and digital delivery systems available and functioning correctly.
However, uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.
Availability may occasionally be affected by:
- Website maintenance
- Hosting problems
- Payment-provider outages
- Email or digital-delivery problems
- Internet failures
- Security incidents
- Other events outside our reasonable control
Where a technical issue prevents delivery of a purchased digital product, please contact Fish & Tips through the Contact page and we will take reasonable steps to resolve the issue or provide an appropriate remedy.

Responsible Gambling
Customers choosing to gamble should only use money they can afford to lose.

Subject to those rights and applicable law, Fish & Tips is not responsible for gambling losses or financial decisions made independently by customers following sporting analysis.

Changes to These Terms
Fish & Tips may update these Terms & Conditions where our services, website, payment arrangements or legal obligations change.
The version applying to a purchase will normally be the version in force when the order was placed, unless a change is required by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Consumers living elsewhere in the United Kingdom retain any mandatory legal rights and protections that apply to them.
