Two Premier League gameweeks down, and we’ve already had a bit of everything: winning bet builders, one-leg heartbreakers, player props landing exactly as expected, and even an own goal standing between us and a 28/1 winner.
After two gameweeks, the record stands at:
12 bets | 6 wins | 6 losses | £120 staked | £270.53 returned | +£150.53 profit | +15.05pts
At selection level, 38 of 47 settled legs landed — an 80.9% hit rate, with three further selections voided.
Game week 1: A strong start

The standout was the Arsenal v Coventry 6/1 bet builder, boosted by 50%. Arsenal goals landed alongside Victor Torp to be booked, Frank Onyeka to commit a foul, Noni Madueke to score or assist, Gabriel Magalhães to have a shot and Myles Lewis-Skelly to win a foul.
A £10 stake returned £100.
Fulham v Chelsea followed at 21/10, with Chelsea to score, Enzo Fernández to win a foul, João Pedro to have a shot on target and Reece James to have a shot all landing. With a 25% boost, £10 returned £36.25.
Newcastle v Liverpool completed the winning trio at 5/2, with the foul angles once again doing the job.
The only miss came in Nottingham Forest v Leeds, where four of five selections landed. Dominic Calvert-Lewin failing to register a shot on target was the only leg to let the 3/1 builder down.
Gameweek 1 finished:
£40 staked | £171.25 returned | +£131.25 profit | +13.13pts
Game week 2: More misses, still profit

Gameweek 2 was much less straightforward.
Eight slips produced three winners, but the prices were strong enough to keep the week profitable.
Bournemouth v Everton landed at 31/20, with Evanilson committing three fouls, James Tarkowski being fouled three times and Marcus Tavernier also winning a foul. With a 25% boost, the £10 stake returned £29.38.
A 2/1 treble combining Milenković to commit a foul, Tarkowski to be fouled and Newcastle to score also landed, while the Maguire/Ballard/Justin shots bet returned £39.90 after Reece James was voided for not starting.
The misses were frustrating for different reasons.
The Manchester United 28/1 builder came especially close. Bruno Fernandes delivered a goal contribution and Saša Lukić was booked. Harry Maguire then got the shot away that led to a goal, but it was officially recorded as an own goal rather than being credited to him.
The Aston Villa v Arsenal builder was another where the official settlement did not tell the full story.
Buendía did foul Gabriel, but the referee played advantage. Gabriel was also fouled in another incident where advantage was played before a Villa player was later booked.
Neither leg was credited for the bet, so both remain official losses, but the underlying matchup logic was much closer than the result suggests.
Gameweek 2 finished:
£80 staked | £99.28 returned | +£19.28 profit | +1.93pts
What Have We Learned?
The biggest positive so far has been the player-interaction markets.
Fouls committed, fouls won and lower shot lines have repeatedly produced strong results, often with players comfortably clearing the required number.
But there is also a clear reminder of how unforgiving bet builders can be.
Across the first two gameweeks, 80.9% of settled individual selections landed, yet only 6 of 12 slips won.
One missed leg can undo four or five correct ones.
That is exactly why we will keep showing the misses as well as the winners.
Two Gameweeks In
Including all applicable winnings boosts:
12 bets
6 wins
6 losses
£120 staked
£270.53 returned
+£150.53 profit
+15.05pts
Without the boosts, the same selections would still have produced +11.14pts, with the boosts adding another +3.91pts.
It is still a very small sample, so there is no point getting carried away.
But it is a strong start.
Now we move on to Game week 3.
Game week 3 analysis is already underway. We’re working through the fixtures, looking at the player matchups, foul angles, shot markets and the areas of the pitch where we think the best opportunities could develop. After a strong start across the first two weeks, the focus stays the same: keep the selections selective, back the strongest data-led angles, and avoid forcing picks just for the sake of having a bet.
